Amana, Iowa Photographs by David B. Heusinkveld Garden Jewlery

“As a photographer, I’m interested in the odd, the unusual, and the beautiful in nature. My images are evocative in a deeply emotional sense.  Photography and hiking in the woods help me cope with the profound grief that emerged following the 2003 death of my son, Jordan, in a car accident.  I, too, was in the accident and nearly died.  Left with permanent injuries, I am immersing myself in nature and art photography.”
